Minako Komukai, 24, held a special 3D showing of her “Minako Komukai - Dangerous Stripper” DVD at the famous Asakusa Rockza on Tuesday, wowing the audience with a routine that could almost be mistaken for real.

After the DVD screening, Komuikai also performed a simple dance. The actress, who was arrested last January for possession of illegal stimulants and received a suspended sentence, apologized for what she had done, saying, “I want to keep on the straight-and-narrow this year, and live a life I can be proud of.”

Pop singer misono has set the release of the second edition of her cover album series. Simply called misono Cover ALBUM2, it will be released on January 27th.

misono released her first cover album in September last year, which got her attention due to covers of gradually, a song from her previous group day after tomorrow, and Complicated, a hit by singer Avril Lavigne.

This new album will feature nine songs, including TOMORROW (from the musical "Annie"), a medley with four songs from rock band ULFULS and another with four songs from famous pop-rock band JUDY AND MARY, plus more.

On the "Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge" Vol. 06 report blog it was confirmed that KAT-TUN will be singing the theme song. According to the report the song will be called "Love yourself ~Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki~".

The report also says that Kamenashi Kazuya who plays the main character Takano Kyohei "Before filming, Kamenashi-kun sang an acapella version of the theme song for Aya-chan ♪".

"Love yourself ~Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki~" is set to be release on February 10th 2010. The single will be released in two limited edition versions and one normal edition . Jacket A will include three songs plus a DVD of the "Love yourself - Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki" video and making of. Jacket B will also include 3 tracks and a DVD of the "D-Motion" video and the making of. Jacket C will include three tracks and the karaoke versions. Actress Ryoko Hirosue, 29, accompanied rumored boyfriend Masaru Nagai, 31, to a press conference Monday for his TV Asahi drama “Salaryman Kintaro 2,” which airs Friday at 11:15 p.m.

A total of 10 television cameras were on location for the event, in front of which Nagai faltered when asked about the state of his love life. “Eh? You mean Kintaro and Misuzu?” he laughed, jokingly redirecting the question toward characters in the show.

In the end the pair declined to make any comments regarding their relationship, but Nagai’s management has not denied the possibility love may be blooming, saying, “His personal life is his business.”

Big goal: To stay indoors. But no, he's not planning to stop fishing. But going back to his first love: art.
(in past articles Ohno has also mentioned that it's kinda like his seahorse drawing from freestyle and that he might colour it in with the colour pencils set Ogura-san gave him for his birthday :3)
Small goal: To become fair (whitening).

Personally I am so excited to hear him talking about getting back into art. Can't wait to see his new creations! Even if it might take a big longer 'cause of his fishing love! XD

But lol, becoming paler as a side-affect too! I love you no matter what shade of tan you are Ohchan! XP

NHK's new taiga drama "Ryomaden," starring Masaharu Fukuyama (40), premiered on Sunday night. Viewership data shows that the first episode averaged a 23.2% rating, indicating a fairly good start for the show.

While "Ryomaden" fell short of last year's "Tenchijin" (which achieved 24.7% with its first episode), the show still scored the second best opener of the past five years. NHK is surely hoping that the new series performs as well as "Atsuhime" did in 2008 - that show's first episode only got 20.3%, but it picked up steam and ended up rating 24.5% over the entire year, the highest average since 1997's "Hideyoshi."

Broadcaster Fuji TV has once again dominated the yearly ratings. According to data collected by Video Research Ltd., Fuji TV had the highest average viewership in 2009 for three key categories: golden time (7pm-10pm), prime time (7pm-11pm), and the entire day (6am-midnight). This is the network's 6th consecutive year leading those categories.

Compared to last year, Fuji TV's ratings rose slightly. It went from 13.3% to 13.5% in golden time, from 13.3% to 13.4% in prime time, and from 8.5% to 8.6% in the entire day.

In the non-prime time hours (6am-7pm, 11pm-midnight), NTV was #1 for the second year in a row. NTV also ranked #2 in the three aforementioned categories. Public broadcaster NHK tied with NTV for the #2 spot during golden time.

Meanwhile, Fuji TV had additional cause for celebration due to its morning show "Mezamashi TV." For the first time in its 16-year history, it managed to edge out NTV's rival program "Zoom In!! SUPER" for the #1 spot in its time slot. The second portion of "Mezamashi TV" (6:10am-8:00am) achieved 10.4% ratings, barely above the second portion of "Zoom In!! SUPER" (6:30am-8:00am) at 10.3%.

SMAP member Katori Shingo was originally set to appear for the live broadcast of Fuji TV's program SMAP X SMAP. However, he could not attend after catching the flu. Katori has had the flu since last Saturday. While he has spent the last few days resting, it's hard to say when he'll be back to work again.

Towards the end of last year, SMAP had been extremely busy with work, especially preparing for their Michael Jackson tribute at NHK's 60th Kohaku Uta Gassen. Not wanting to disappoint, they trained very hard for their performance. Perhaps Katori was over exhausted, which made him more susceptible to catching the flu. Yesterday's SMAP X SMAP was the first time they had a live four hour broadcast.
